Captain Rob Thorne, known by many as Captain Thorny, is the driving force behind Captain Thorny’s Fishing Charters and a trusted Lake Champlain fishing guide based in Burlington. His connection to the water started early and has grown into more than 40 years of experience fishing Lake Champlain. What began as a personal passion has turned into a full-time commitment to helping others enjoy the same waters he knows so well. With over 15 years of running charters and a USCG Master Captain’s License, Captain Rob brings both experience and professionalism to every trip.
